Multiple Teams · Men’s Varsity Baketball Falls to Ironwood in State Tournament

After a hard-fought battle, the varsity men’s basketball team fell to Ironwood on Feb. 15 by a score of 66-58 in the first round of the state tournament playoffs. Playing in his last game as an Owl, senior Bryce Fowler had a memorable performance with 33 points and 9 rebounds.

DJ McNeal added 12 points and 3 steals, while Daniel Foster chipped in 10 points with 4 assists.

The Owls finished their season at 15-4.

On Feb. 10, varsity played the Sierra Linda Bulldogs to advance to the next round of the playoffs. The Owls easily won the game 74-35 with little difficulty. The top three leading scores in the game were Duron McNeal with 15pts 4 rebs 3 stls 2ast, Bryce Fowler with 21 pts 15 rebs 5 asts 4 blks, and daniel foster with 11 pts.
