The varsity men’s volleyball team traveled across the traffic-ridden 10 freeway to Marcos de Niza High School last week and lost in 4 sets. The boys battled, but came up just short against a strong defensive unit from Screen Shot 2017-03-28 at 1.30.40 PMde Niza.

This brings the team’s record to 4-2. They had won the 1st set, 25-22. Their 2nd set was a loss, 20-25, then the 3rd set was another loss of 23-25, and lastly their 4th set was yet another loss of 22-25. The defense of Marcos De Niza had played strong which lead to the Owls losing. Our defense was also not there, with the pressure of the offense not scoring, which had bring the team down to their second loss of the season.

The Owls return to action this evening at home against Barry Goldwater (6-1). JV starts at 4:30 p.m. and Varsity begins at 5:30 p.m.
